The Prairie Tales Film and Video Tour is more than an
anthology of some of the year’s best short films and videos made by Albertans.
Our funding also makes possible to send the artists who created the works into
the communities where the program is screened. These artist visits can be
tailored to suit each venue’s needs. In most cases, the artists give talks or
presentations, teach workshops, or take questions from the audience. Fees and
travel expenses within Alberta are covered by Prairie Tales. Artist visits come
at no cost to the exhibitor.
